1. Integrate Seamlessly into the Automation Development Team
Within the first 30–60 days, become a trusted technical contributor by building credibility with peers, business stakeholders, and leadership. Demonstrate familiarity with the UiPath stack, SAP process flows, and Salesforce integration points. Performance will be measured by quality of onboarding deliverables and early collaboration feedback.
2. Lead Full Automation Lifecycle Delivery from Scoping to Hypercare
By day 120, take full ownership of one or more end-to-end SAP or Salesforce integration projects. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, use case design, UiPath development, system testing, business sign-off, and post-deployment hypercare. Success will be tracked by deployment quality, time to delivery, and user adoption metrics.
3. Mentor Junior Developers and Foster Teamwide Skill Growth
Over the course of the first 6–9 months, provide consistent mentoring and coaching to junior developers on coding standards, solution design, and best practices. Share knowledge through code reviews, workshops, and informal coaching. Metrics will include peer growth feedback and reduced dependency on senior developers for repeatable tasks.
4. Collaborate with Leaders to Drive Manufacturing Automation Maturity
By the end of the first year, work directly with the transformation leader and business stakeholders to identify high-impact automation opportunities across SAP Digital Manufacturing and Financial Management. Evaluate current workflows, recommend automation targets, and provide detailed delivery plans. Results will be measured by project pipeline growth, stakeholder alignment, and solution impact.
Critical Subtasks (Chronological Execution Plan)
1. Ramp Up and Analyze SAP and Salesforce Process Landscape
In the first 30 days, participate in onboarding sessions to understand the firm’s SAP Finance, Digital Manufacturing, and Salesforce usage. Conduct interviews with internal SMEs to map current-state workflows and identify pain points. Deliver an automation opportunity assessment that aligns with transformation goals.
2. Build UiPath Integrations with Salesforce and SAP Modules
By day 60, develop a working integration that automates key data flows or process steps across SAP and Salesforce using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator. Ensure security, error handling, and compliance with existing system architecture. Demonstrate functional value to end users and gather feedback for refinement.
3. Define and Execute Full Automation Lifecycle for Priority Use Case
Within the first 90–120 days, take a high-priority integration or automation from design through go-live. This includes test planning, UAT, exception handling, deployment documentation, and leading hypercare. Measure performance based on reduction in manual work and stakeholder satisfaction.
4. Establish Technical Standards and Documentation Protocols
Standardize development workflows, reusability practices, and naming conventions for the UiPath environment. Build a shared knowledge base and repository of reusable components. Review technical output for consistency and maintainability.
5. Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration for Continuous Improvement

6. Coach and Upskill Junior Developers Regularly
Conduct at least biweekly training or pairing sessions with junior automation developers. Provide feedback, share tools or accelerators, and document lessons learned. Progress will be evaluated through reduced rework, skill improvements, and independence of junior teammates.
7. Continuously Evaluate and Integrate AI to Improve Performance
Within the first 90–180 days, take ownership of identifying how AI and automation tools can support or enhance the core responsibilities of this role. Evaluate tasks that could be streamlined or improved, lead pilots, and embed continuous AI adoption into daily work.
