Senior Facets Solution Architect (Core Facets Platform)

Location: Remote with minimum onsite travel if required

We are seeking an experienced Senior Facets Solution Architect to lead strategic design and architecture initiatives for the Core Facets Platform within a major national health plan. This individual will be responsible for developing, guiding, and overseeing solution strategies that align business needs with system capabilities, driving modernization, integration, and optimization efforts across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the enterprise-level Solution Architect for all initiatives involving the Core Facets Platform.
• Design scalable, sustainable, and high-performing architectures that support business operations, modernization initiatives, and future expansion.
• Lead discussions with business and IT leadership, ensuring architectural solutions align with strategic goals and operational requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on Facets data models, configuration, integration strategies, and platform capabilities.
• Define technical roadmaps, architectural standards, and best practices specific to the Facets environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure architectural integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize legacy processes, improve system efficiencies, and drive operational improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and tools for potential integration with the Facets platform.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of healthcare payer experience with deep expertise in the TriZetto Facets Core Platform.
• 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Platform Architect role with proven experience leading large-scale Facets initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Facets modules such as Membership, Claims, Billing, and Provider.
• Expertise in Facets configuration, data architecture, and integration with external systems (e.g., CRM, portals, payment systems).
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting modernization initiatives, platform migrations, or digital transformations involving Facets.
• Deep understanding of HIPAA compliance, CMS regulations, and healthcare operational workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud migrations (AWS, Azure) and/or modern enterprise architecture frameworks is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
