Irvine, California · Information Technology
Position: Enterprise Multi-Cloud Architecture & Strategic Delivery Lead
Company: Global Electronics Supply Chain Organization
Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid – Preferred 2–3 Days Onsite Weekly)
Employment Type: Annual Contract Only, W2

Overview
The Enterprise Multi-Cloud Architecture & Strategic Delivery Lead will serve as the primary liaison between the company and its strategic technology partner, Client, ensuring alignment across multiple cloud initiatives spanning AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments. This individual will operate at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, program governance, and delivery execution. Rather than serving as a hands-on cloud engineer, the person will provide leadership, coordination, prioritization, and strategic guidance across a portfolio of cloud transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will become the trusted advisor and primary point of contact representing the company's interests, helping business and technology leaders evaluate opportunities, resolve issues, prioritize investments, and drive successful project execution across global teams. Given the scale and complexity of the environment, strong stakeholder management, enterprise architecture knowledge, and multi-cloud program leadership experience will be critical.

Purpose
This role provides the opportunity to influence the future technology direction of a global organization operating within a highly complex supply chain and electronics ecosystem. The successful candidate will help shape enterprise cloud strategy while driving initiatives that directly impact operational efficiency, scalability, security, and business growth.
The position offers exposure to executive leadership, enterprise architecture decision-making, global delivery organizations, and large-scale cloud transformation programs. The individual will gain broad experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments while influencing strategic technology investments across multiple business functions.

Motivators
This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys solving complex organizational challenges, aligning multiple stakeholders around common objectives, and operating as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The role offers significant visibility, influence, autonomy, and the ability to create measurable business impact across a global enterprise.

Performance Objectives
1. Establish Enterprise Cloud Governance and Strategic Alignment
Within the first 90 days, assess the current state of all active cloud initiatives, stakeholder relationships, governance structures, and delivery processes involving both internal teams and Client resources. Develop and implement a structured operating model that provides transparency, accountability, prioritization, and executive visibility across the multi-cloud portfolio. Success will be measured through leadership adoption of governance processes, improved project visibility, reduction of delivery escalations, and stakeholder satisfaction. This objective may be enhanced through AI-enabled portfolio management, reporting, and decision-support tools.

2. Drive Successful Delivery of Multi-Cloud Transformation Initiatives
Over the first 12 months, lead coordination and oversight of cloud programs spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring alignment between business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and delivery execution. Act as the central point of coordination between Ingram business and technology stakeholders and Capgemini delivery teams to proactively address risks, dependencies, and execution challenges. Success will be measured through project milestone achievement, reduction of delivery delays, improved stakeholder confidence, and successful implementation of strategic initiatives. AI-powered project analytics and risk management tools should be evaluated where appropriate.

3. Serve as Trusted Enterprise Advisor for Cloud Strategy and Investment Decisions
Within the first six months, establish credibility as the organization's primary advisor regarding multi-cloud architecture, cloud investments, technology prioritization, and transformation planning. Evaluate opportunities, recommend solutions, facilitate executive decision-making, and ensure all recommendations align with long-term business objectives and enterprise architecture principles. Success will be measured through executive engagement, adoption of recommendations, improved decision quality, and increased business value realization from cloud investments. This objective may be supported through AI-assisted architecture analysis and business case development tools.

4. Strengthen Strategic Partnership Between End Client and Direct Client
Throughout the engagement, proactively build and maintain a highly effective working relationship between Ingram leadership and Client delivery teams. Establish communication frameworks, escalation processes, performance expectations, and operating rhythms that improve collaboration and accountability across global teams. Success will be measured through improved stakeholder feedback, faster issue resolution, reduced friction between organizations, and improved overall delivery performance.

Subtasks
1. Conduct Enterprise Portfolio Assessment
Within the first 60 days, inventory all active cloud initiatives, key stakeholders, delivery teams, architecture standards, and strategic priorities across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Identify risks, redundancies, opportunities, and governance gaps while creating a consolidated view of ongoing transformation efforts. Success will be measured through executive validation and adoption of the assessment findings.

2. Develop Executive Reporting and Visibility Frameworks
Design and implement executive-level dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and governance reviews that provide accurate visibility into project status, risks, financial impacts, resource utilization, and strategic alignment. Success will be measured through leadership adoption and improved decision-making effectiveness.

3. Facilitate Cross-Functional Program Coordination
Lead recurring coordination meetings involving business leaders, enterprise architects, project managers, cloud teams, and offshore delivery organizations. Ensure decisions are documented, dependencies are managed, and stakeholders remain aligned on priorities and objectives. Success will be measured through improved project execution and reduced communication breakdowns.

4. Review and Recommend Multi-Cloud Architectural Approaches
Evaluate proposed cloud architectures, technology decisions, modernization strategies, and implementation plans across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Provide recommendations that balance business value, scalability, security, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. Success will be measured through adoption of recommendations and improved architectural consistency.

5. Manage Vendor and Offshore Delivery Relationships
Partner closely with Capgemini leadership and offshore teams to ensure accountability, alignment, and delivery quality across all cloud initiatives. Establish performance expectations and proactively address issues impacting project outcomes. Success will be measured through delivery performance, stakeholder satisfaction, and improved operational effectiveness.

6. Identify and Launch Strategic Cloud Initiatives
Work with business and technology leaders to identify high-value opportunities that support enterprise goals. Build business cases, prioritize investments, and initiate projects that improve operational performance and support future growth. Success will be measured through approved initiatives, realized business value, and successful project launches.

7. Continuously Evaluate and Integrate AI to Improve Performance
Within the first 90–180 days, evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflow solutions across cloud operations, project governance, portfolio management, reporting, and decision-making processes. Recommend and pilot practical solutions that improve visibility, productivity, and business outcomes. Success will be measured through identified opportunities, implemented improvements, efficiency gains, and stakeholder adoption.
