RPA Automation Specialist – SAP Migration

Remote contract, 6 months

We are seeking an experienced RPA Automation Specialist to support a high-priority SAP R3 to SAP S4 automation migration initiative. As part of the IT Automation Center of Excellence, you will play a key role in designing and delivering automation solutions that streamline business processes and accelerate a smooth transition between platforms. This position requires strong technical expertise in UiPath, deep knowledge of SAP ERP systems, and proven experience in process automation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions supporting the SAP R3 to SAP S4 migration.
  • Partner with business & IT stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Lead full project lifecycle execution: requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Provide RPA subject matter expertise to troubleshoot issues and refine existing automation workflows.
  • Maintain consistent communication with technical teams & business users to align expectations and ensure transparency.
  • Ensure high-quality and consistent creation of Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs); mentor team members on documentation standards.
  • Stay current on automation best practices, SAP S4 transformation strategies, and RPA industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with UiPath in enterprise environments. UiPath Certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP R3 and SAP S4 within automation or data migration contexts.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, business process mapping, and automation best practices.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to independently drive initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Experience establishing and enforcing governance frameworks and documentation standards.
