Sr Systems Engineer

Join a leading Consumer Retail business based in downtown Chicago, focused on digital transformation and innovation. We are looking for Sr Systems Engineer, who is experienced in K8s administration and have experience managing AWS and/or GCP workloads. The candidate should have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Kubernetes clusters in AWS/GCP. The candidate should have experience in managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in AWS/GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

• design, develop, and implement Kubernetes clusters in AWS/GCP manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in AWS/GCP
• work with development teams to design workloads to Kubernetes clusters
• work with K8s echo system tools like Helm, ArgoCD, calico etc

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes and cloud administration.
• hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters in AWS/GCP
• hands-on experience with K8s echo system tools like Helm, ArgoCD, calico etc Sound systems engineering knowledge with automation experience
• Experience in deploying workloads to AWS/GCP
• CloudNative design and development experience, AWS cloud or GCP
• Experience in Dapr or other multi-cloud abstraction frameworks is a plus
• Sound systems engineering knowledge with automation experience
• Experience in deploying workloads to AWS/GCP CloudNative design and development experience, AWS cloud or GCP
• hands on experience in development of Kubernetes and CI/CD Implementations
